Tripod has Been Adopted!
I really didn’t think this one would happen. Tripod is a sweet and scared dog. He was mauled by another dog, and his leg had to be amputated in January of 2006. After he recovered he was so traumatized that when he went through the standard testing, he was found to be unadoptable and slated to be put down. The LA SPCA then called ARNO, who agreed to take him, assuming that he would be in the shelter for the rest of his life.
He was at ARNO since March 2006, for a total of 18 months. He afraid of me when I visited, so I sat in his kennel with him and backed into him, never looking directly at him, and he let me touch him a bit. He is now with another dog, who he adores.
